I am always very aware of the shortening of days beginning with the Summer Solstice in June, and it's leading up to the Winter Solstice, which takes place today the 21st of December. Today is considered to be the darkest day of the year and our descent into the cold months of Winter.
With Christmas approaching several days following the Winter Solstice, it's a constant reminder in my life...that there is a hope and promise of light, in a world that seems to be descending into a man made darkness.
